Long time The Sounds fan here. I'm glad I checked The Sounds out after hearing about them through their collaboration with Cobra Starship.

Anyways, long story short, I missed them in 2009 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver by a week. I went on their site and noticed they toured here a week before.

Thankfully, I decided to go onto their website a couple of weeks ago and noticed they were on another NA tour. Purchased my tickets (2) and booked a hotel. I actually didn't bother inviting any friends to go with me because they're not a fan and I wanted that night to be for myself. No regrets, totally had an awesome time. It was actually my first concert.

Right now, I'm saving up for Europe for next year and I might even time it around a time they'll go on another tour there (if they do it) because I'd love to see them again. Maja has so much charisma. Felix and everyone else had that look on them too that just enhanced my experience coz I could see that they were enjoying their time as well.

All in all, it was one of the best time in my life because I've waited for years to see them again and was glad I was able to share it with them since it was also my first concert. I was a little disappointed that they didn't do Midnight Sun. But that's not their fault. She did do Night After Night and we all loved singing along with her.
