FINLAND!! from Jesper and Felix
The Sounds go to Finland
This week we've been to Finland, for 5 sold-out shows. It's been a great week for us, which you all probably understand! We started out in Turku/Abo at the venue Klubi. After the show we got the brilliant idea of making our own 200 dollar scorpion bowl, containing only vodka and pineapple. Delicious! After that we all when out partying, celebrating the arrival in Finland.
The day after we went to Helsinki, a good 2 hours drive and a stop at every Hessburger we saw. For you all who havn’t been to Finland, Hessburger is like McDonalds but much better and you can only find it here.
In Helsinki we played a venue called Nosturi. Before heading to the venue we had to go down to the hotel garage to pick up our van. And that wasn’t as easy as we though it was going to be. Apparently our parking ticket wasn't valid anymore and we got stuck in the garage for half an hour before we could figure out how to call for help cause non of us understands
Finish. But we made it just in time to hear the last songs of our support act "Bright Boy" from Finland.
The day after we all went to the Swedish embassy in Helsinki to for the election in Sweden.
Thanks to all our fans that showed up at our shows, we had a great time in Finland as always and we'll come back as soon as we can! At the moment we're on a so-called "super fast ferry" (it ONLY takes 26 hours) from Helsinki to Rostock in Germany where we're going to play together with Billy Talent and The Subways. See you in Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin!
By the way, we're nominated for BEST SWEDISH ACT at the MTV-Europe Awards.
