Leaving California The tour started out great, with sold-out concerts and an amazing response from our fans! Thank you all for coming to our shows! It's pretty cool to see so many fans singing along to our new songs since the new CD just came out last week.
Before the tour started we arrived in Austin for two shows at the SXSW Festival - it wasn't a surprise that they were so fun because we always have a good time in Austin. After that we got on a plane to LA, with a lay-over in Las Vegas. During the flight we got hit by lightning twice, pretty scary. The plane got delayed two hours in Vegas and Jesper started playing the slot machines. JACKPOT! 30 minutes later he was $2700 richer!!!! Back to the bad luck - when we got to the Henry Fonda Theatre on the day of our show, we discovered that Johans back-up bass and Fredriks drumkit had been lost in shipping! Luckily, two hours before the show, we got ahold of another bass. And not just any bass..A SIGNED SLAYER BASS! For a big Slayer fan like Johan, it was a dream come true. So I guess it all worked out!
